Prime Zinc Plus is your best defense against damage to your galvanized fence. This formula created with 93% zinc works on ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. Use as a primer or touch-up before coating a chain link fence with acrylic, enamel, silicone, latex, or chlorinated rubber paints. For best performance, apply Prime Zinc Plus to the damaged galvanized area up to 2 hours after damage occurs. As a primer, apply Prime Zinc Plus and wait 24 to 48 hours before applying a top coat of aerosol paint.
It's a great primer to have in your garage in case of welding, corrosion, or any other damage that occurs due to human error or weather to a chain link fence. If used with brushing or spraying, apply two coats that reach 0.0025 (2.5 mils) to 0.003 (3.0 mils) inches.
