PVC Coated Steel Chain Link Fence Fabric - Class 1 - Extruded

PVC Coated Steel Chain Link Fence Mesh

One of the types of PVC-coated steel chain link fence fabric is class 1 extruded. This type of polyvinyl chloride-coated chain link fabric or sometimes called vinyl-coated chain link fence, is very common in residential areas since it is cost-effective and durable. Having a coating over steel chain link fabric will increase its resistance to corrosion while also showing off a different color other than a plain galvanized gray look. Vinyl-coated steel chain link fences can come in multiple colors, such as green, white, black, and brown. PVC-coated chain link fabric can last upwards of 15-20 years depending on the environment in which it is installed.

Benefits Of PVC Coated Chain Link Fence Mesh:

  • Low-Maintenance
  • Better Corrosion Resistance
  • Different Look Compared To Plain Galvanized Gray.
  • Easy To Install
  • Durable
  • Cost-Effective

This type of coated chain link fence mesh is manufactured in a fairly straightforward process. The steel chain link fence fabric is produced by cold-drawing commercial-grade steel rods into wire of the appropriate diameter. The wire is passed through a bath of molten zinc, which produces the galvanized coating. After the steel wire has gone through the galvanization process, it is then coated with PVC with a thickness of 0.025" (0.64 mm).

Extruded vinyl chain link fence fabric is becoming more and more popular due to the different color options, weather and corrosion resistance, and low cost.
