Titan Sleeve Size Versus Collar Size

Post driver adapter sleeves and collars are designed to impact the effectiveness of your post-driver. Sleeves, sleeves with pads, and collars can all be used for the installation of posts, pipes, stakes, rods, and more. These products range in size, measured as diameter, generally corresponding to post size. Post drivers need sleeves and collars; both guide material within the barrel, but a collar will provide additional protection for the driver's exterior.

Sleeves & Sleeves with Pads

Sleeves are placed inside the post driver and are designed to guide material into the center of the barrel to create a more practical impact when driven into the ground. Referred to as adapter parts, sleeves, and sleeves with pads are designed to grip material inside the barrel for a more effective post-pounding impact. Sleeves with pads will subtract the need for a collar. All sleeves are made of industrial-grade poly and specific to the post driver model and post size.

Collars

Collars are placed over the post driver's barrel and are designed to guide material into the center of the barrel. Often called reducer collars, these will essentially reduce the size of the barrel for various sizes of posts, pipes, stakes, rods, etc. All collars are threaded to provide an optimal fit and made of high-density plastic to last through the toughest projects.
