Tension bands are the necessary fitting that is used to keep chain link mesh from sagging. They are designed to secure the fabric and tension bar to the post. This 1 5/8" Beveled Tension Band is a great option for chain link fences that are in high-security settings. A good rule of thumb to follow is to use one less tension band than the overall height of the fence (i.e. a 6' high fence uses 5 tension bands).
